Vermont Assistance Programs
Whether you live in Vermont or New York there are many programs available . There are also many tips that can help us all to decrease our consumption, save money, conserve our resources, and protect on environment. It’s true. Current legislation has authorized federal tax credits for energy efficiency for consumers at 30% of the cost, up to $1500, in 2009 and 2010 for existing homes. The tax credit is limited to energy saving home improvements, such as windows and doors, insulation, roofs, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, water heaters of the non-solar type and biomass stoves.
